   Danita graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2009 with a double major Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Human Development & Family Studies.  She went to North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude in 2012.  In law school, Danita worked in both the Domestic Violence and Family Law Clinics.  She also volunteered as a Guardian ad litem (GAL) where she was appointed by the court to represent the interests of abused and neglected children in various legal proceedings and spent one year as the Vice President of the Future Lawyers for Community Advancement, which mentored local students with an interest in a career in law.

   Danita has practiced in Connecticut and New York courts since graduation.  Her prior experience includes Debtor/Creditor litigation from inception through litigation and enforcement of judgments.

   Today, at Keidel, Weldon & Cunningham, LLP, Danita handles the defense of insurance agents and brokers in professional liability lawsuits in New York.
