DARREN P. RENNER (drenner@kwcllp.com) Partner Darren Renner has been practicing law in both Connecticut and New York courts since his graduation from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1995. He practices in several insurance-related areas, including the defense of insurance agents & brokers in E&O claims and lawsuits, insurance coverage litigation and insurance coverage analysis. Prior to joining Lustig & Brown in 2000, he litigated personal injury and professional liability matters as an associate with a well-established Stamford, Connecticut insurance defense firm. He has successfully defended insurance brokers in both New York and Connecticut and has also handled numerous complex mediation and arbitration proceedings.

JEFFREY A. LESSER (jlesser@kwcllp.com) Partner Jeffrey Lesser began his legal career in 1987, working as an attorney for an in-house counsel firm. He worked on varied legal issues, gaining significant trial experience. He also frequently conducted lectures on personal injury and insurance issues for claims and management personnel. After ten years at the in-house firm, he began a 4-year association with a major defense firm in Lower Manhattan. He worked for the firm primarily on labor law personal injury and insurance coverage litigation for a global construction management client. HOWARDS S. KRONBERG (hkronberg@kwcllp.com) Partner Howard Kronberg’s experience in insurance and civil litigation traces back to 1981 when he worked as law clerk during law school. For the next two and a half decades his practice has included prosecuting and defending first party insurance cases for varied property damage and business interruption issues, preparing coverage analysis on issues under property and liability policies and handling insurance agent and broker E & O claims and lawsuits. Howard has extensive experience handling appeals. He has represented insurers and insureds in State and Federal court proceedings. Howard is the author of Fidelity and Suretyship, part of the multi-volume set on New York Insurance Law. In 2007, Howard was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. Bar Admissions: LORI A. EATON (leaton@kwcllp.com) Associate Lori Eaton began her legal career in 1997. Prior to joining Keidel, Weldon & Cunningham, Ms. Eaton worked closely with a number of prominent insurance carriers and their insureds on the defense of various matters including municipal liability, employment law and commercial litigation arising out of lessor liability. In addition to appearing before state and federal courts in New York and Connecticut, Ms. Eaton has appeared in a number of administrative proceedings before the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and the Workers’ Compensation Commission. Ms. Eaton currently assists the firm’s large clientele of insurance agents and brokers in defending allegations of professional negligence. She also works in the area of workers’ compensation and general liability. ROBERT J. GRANDE (rgrande@kwcllp.com) Associate Robert Grande has handled matters in diverse practice areas since his admission in 1998. These practice areas include the defense of insurance agents and brokers in professional negligence claims, attorney malpractice, insurance coverage, general liability defense, and employment law. While spending several years at large national law firms in both Connecticut and New York, he developed working knowledge of the law and rules of practice of both states. Bob prides himself in his written work product and has successfully prevailed on dispositive motions in both federal and state courts. Bob’s extensive legal experience and superior writing skills are an asset to the firm. Bob graduated cum laude from Boston College with a B.A. in Economics. He also graduated cum laude and in the top ten percent of his class at Suffolk University Law School in 1998. DARA J. LAWALL (dlawall@kwcllp.com) Associate Dara J. Lawall joined Keidel, Weldon & Cunningham, LLP in 2008. In 2007, Dara began working in the field of professional liability, where she practiced as a student attorney for the Pace Investor's Rights Clinic, representing clients in the pursuit of their claims through alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and arbitration. Additionally, Dara was a legal intern at Turkel, Forman & de la Vega, LLP and Donald P. Henry , P.C., and a student attorney for the Pace Women's Justice Center. During law school, Dara was selected to compete in the Grand Moot Court Competition, and to represent Pace Law School at the American Bar Association Client Counseling and Negotiation Competitions. Dara received her B.A. from Binghamton University, where she majored in Economics and minored in Spanish, and her J.D. from Pace Law School. DANIELLE P. BOUCHARD (dbouchard@kwcllp.com) formerly Danielle Pantaleoni Associate Danielle M. Pantaleoni began her law career in 2002 working as a paralegal for the firm of Donnelly, McNamara & Gustafson in Ridgefield, Connecticut. While in law school, Danielle served as a student attorney for the Pace Women's Justice Center and an intern for the Connecticut State's Attorney. Danielle was also selected to represent Pace Law School at the American Bar Association Arbitration Competition. Prior to joining Keidel, Weldon & Cunningham in 2009, Danielle spent a year and a half as a research clerk for the judges of the Connecticut Superior Court in the judicial district of Danbury.
Danielle received her B.A. from Lafayette College in 2002 and her J.D. from Pace Law School in 2007. Danielle is admitted to practice in both Connecticut and New York and is also a member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.

APRIL FORBES (aforbes@kwcllp.com) Associate April Forbes has been practicing law in New York State since receiving her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Loyola University School of Law in 1999. Ms. Forbes has a diverse background and extensive experience representing primarily insurance agents and brokers, insurance companies, property owners, general contractors, religious institutions and municipalities in a vast range of commercial and civil disputes.
Areas of specialty include defense of errors and omissions malpractice claims/suits, prosecution and defense of declaratory judgment actions on behalf of insurance companies in a vast range of coverage areas, in addition to providing legal opinions, risk assessment and management services. Other areas of experience include representation of claimants, employers and insurers in connection with workers compensation claims, the defense of property owners and contractors in connection with property damage and personal injury suits, including construction site accident litigation, along with defending religious entities in connection with sexual misconduct claims/suits and ecclesiastical disputes.

DAVID SNYDER (dsnyder@kwcllp.com) Associate David Snyder joined Keidel, Weldon and Cunningham in April 2009. David received dual undergraduate degrees in Biology and Political Science from the University of Arizona. He was a Congressional intern for Congressman Jim Kolbe and worked as a research assistant in an ichthyology laboratory.
After college, David moved to New York to obtain his law degree from Syracuse University where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and earned a position on the 2001 National Trial Team and the 2002 ATLA Trial Team. David served as President of his law school class and interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York. Before joining Keidel, Weldon and Cunningham, David gained experience working in a Syracuse boutique litigation firm specializing in medical malpractice defense. David also has extensive experience handling matters before the Workers’ Compensation Board and representing small businesses. David devotes his practice at Keidel, Weldon & Cunningham to the defense of errors and omissions claims involving insurance agents and brokers.

STEPHEN J. ROMANO (sromano@kwcllp.com) Associate Stephen Romano began his legal career in 2003. Prior to joining Keidel, Weldon & Cunningham in 2009, Steve handled matters in a wide array of practice areas including the defense of general liability, employment discrimination, labor law, property damage, municipal liability and insurance coverage lawsuits. Steve has also represented a very diverse clientele consisting of large insurance carriers, Fortune 500 companies, public school districts, property owners, general contractors, subcontractors and self-insureds. At KWC, Steve devotes his practice to the defense of insurance agents and brokers in errors and omissions claims and lawsuits.
Steve received his B.A. in sociology and political science from Stony Brook University in 1998 and his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law in 2003.

JAN A. MARCUS (jmarcus@kwcllp.com) of Counsel Jan A. Marcus joined Keidel, Weldon & Cunningham in 2009 as senior counsel to the firm. Jan has practiced law for almost 30 years in the courts of New York and Connecticut. Jan has represented clients in a multitude of sophisticated business transactions and complex defense litigation in both state and federal jurisdictions. Jan has also served as corporate counsel to various businesses, and has served as a mediator and a court appointed referee. Jan started his career with an insurance defense firm in New York City, and prior to joining Keidel, Weldon & Cunningham has owned and been a partner in his own law firms. Jan presently concentrates his practice on representing the interests of various insurance brokers and agencies in business transactions, as well as representing insurance-related businesses in litigation in state and federal courts.

GRAEME SPICER (gspicer@kwcllp.com) Associate Graeme Spicer has been practicing law in New York since his graduation from the Syracuse University College of Law in 2005. Prior to joining Keidel, Weldon & Cunningham, he defended clients in high-exposure labor law and general liability claims as an associate with a national insurance defense firm. Graeme also was an associate for a construction litigation firm where he prosecuted affirmative commercial matters in addition to defending construction accident cases. During his career, Graeme has aggressively defended and pursued cases while obtaining favorable results and resolutions for clients. He has represented a wide variety of clientele that include insurance carriers, building owners, building managers, general contractors, subcontractors, sureties, corporations, self-insureds and uninsured entities.
At Keidel, Weldon & Cunningham, Graeme concentrates his practice in the defense of professional liability and errors and omissions claims against insurance brokers and agents.
